CYBER CORNER

Changing passwords is the first line of defense in cyber-attacks. In the event of an attack where user credentials are compromised, changing passwords quickly can minimize the potential damage. Many organizations have password compliance standards. Following these standards helps to maintain a higher level of cybersecurity. While changing passwords is a good practice, it is essential to combine it with other security measures such as using strong, unique passwords for each account, enabling multi-factor authentication, and staying informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.

To help you to be more productive. Here are some keyboard shortcuts for Windows.

Window key + V turns on clipboard history where you can see the last 24 items you clipped so you can choose which one you want to paste.

Window key + L will lock the computer so you can walk away and protect your computer.

Window key + . (period) enables the use of emojis anywhere in any Windows apps! 😊
